Pupil Barrister

Anna started pupillage in October 2017 and her current supervisor is James Tucker.

During her first six months of pupillage she gained a broad experience across Chambers’ practice areas under the supervision of Mark Williams.

Prior to starting pupillage Anna worked as a County Court Advocate for a year where she represented clients in a variety of hearings before a District Judge. In this role she strengthened her confidence presenting a case before a tribunal and responding to unexpected points of law and fact. Anna liaised with parties at court, conducted conferences and negotiated where appropriate in order to achieve a favourable outcome.

Anna frequently represented mortgage lenders and commercial loan companies and conducted small claims involving contractual disputes. She represented petitioning creditors at bankruptcy hearings and landlords/management agencies in the process of recovering service charges or evicting tenants, very often obtaining a successful result for the client.
