Lauren Seager

Lauren is an experienced advocate specialising in clinical negligence and personal injury. She is alert to the responsive and delicate client care required in these areas. She balances this with tenacious advocacy to achieve the best outcome for her clients. Those instructing her often relish her efficiency and ability to work to tight time constraints.

Lauren represents both claimants and defendants. Her practice includes claims involving delays in and missed diagnosis, surgical error, dental negligence, failings by paramedics, deaths resulting arising from the use of bed rails and hospital acquired bed sores. She is regularly instructed in high value claims involving complex schedules.

Lauren deals with claims from inception through to and including trial dealing with inquests, Letters of Claim and Response, pleadings, schedules, advice, conference, CCMCs, PTRs and applications.

“She took on a complex case with significant issues and delivered an outstanding result that was far better than I expected.” – Glenn Frazer, Clinch solicitors

After being called to the Bar in 2011 she spent a year working in the department of a nationwide firm of solicitors as an in-house advocate. She is a member of PIBA, APIL and AvMA.

When not attending to motherhood duties, Lauren is an ardent runner and surfer. She can often be found braving the cold of the Devon coast at weekends or trying to reclaim her dog in a muddy field (incidentally, the dog is a more ardent runner).
