Lucie Stoker

Lucie joins the family team having established a family practice at Westgate Chambers in East Sussex. Her work is largely focused on the family law in relation to children and she accepts instructions in both private and public cases. She also has experience with non-molestation and occupation order proceedings.

Lucie acts for parents, guardians and local authorities and does so with compassion for all those involved in what are undoubtedly emotional circumstances.

Recent instructions have involved parents with developmental difficulties, drug addictions and problems with domestic violence.

Recent cases exampled

Currently instructed to  represent father who is accused of alcohol abuse and domestic violence against Mother in care proceedings.

Successfully applied for the dismissal of a Local Authority application for an ISO in which the local authority had conceded a lack of evidence for the majority of the threshold allegations but wished to continue on the basis of emotional damage.
